IEEE Citation Format

The purpose of any citation is to provide a way for a reader to find the original work.  To that end, any citation system is just that—a system, which uses specific formats and rules to accomplish its goals. Follow the system for success.

Organizations choose IEEE Citation Format for its efficiency within the paragraphs, which deploys a bracketed number [x] to cite, with a list of References at the end.

To format in-text citations, we have guidance here.

To format your References page, follow these rules.
